Albanian and Bosnian languages ​​are placed in the educational program in Turkey

The Turkish Ministry of National Education has decided in the educational program for next year Albanian and Bosnian language as optional subjects starting from the 5th grades. The two languages ​​approved by the Board of Education and Training will be optional subjects starting in the fifth grade.

According to the information that AA has received from the officials of the ministry, it is known that within the project "my preference is Turkish", developed in April last year under the auspices of the Ministry of Education of Turkey and the Ministry of Education and Science of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, the "Traditional 4th Children's Festival" was held, for students who learn Turkish as an elective subject in the state schools of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

In this context, in October of last year, a cooperation protocol was signed between the Turkish Ministry of Education and Trakya University in order to enable students to have knowledge of different cultures, and the transmission to future generations of the languages ​​and dialects that "live " in Turkey.

The curriculum of the Albanian and Bosnian languages, after it was prepared and evaluated with the contributions of the General Directorate of Basic Education of the Ministry of Education, was presented to the Presidency of the Board of Education.

After the evaluation process of the program, the works for the preparation of the textbooks have started. Starting from the next academic year, students will be able to learn Albanian and Bosnian languages ​​as optional subjects in schools from the 5th grade.
