Kosovo's acting Foreign Minister, Donika Gërvalla-Schwarz, met on Tuesday in New York with Honduras' Foreign Minister, Javier Bu Soto, where the topic of discussion was cooperation between the two countries.
During the meeting, Gërvalla asked her Honduran counterpart to lift visas for Kosovo citizens.
"The focus of the conversation was on the opportunities for deepening economic and trade cooperation, for promoting investments and for agreements that create more favorable conditions for businesses and economic circulation between the two countries. Equally important remain regular consultations between foreign ministries, cooperation between diplomatic academies and the establishment of parliamentary ties that strengthen the political partnership with the state of Honduras. Facilitating movement also remains a natural step in this direction, Kosovo has already opened the door to the citizens of Honduras and we expect Honduras to soon take the same step," Gërvalla wrote on Facebook.
