Democratic League of Kosovo MP Arben Gashi has said that it is the responsibility of the leader of the Vetëvendosje Movement, Albin Kurti, to build a parliamentary majority to elect the Speaker of the Assembly and form the government.
Entering the Assembly building for the continuation of the constitutive session for the nineteenth time, he said that it is not up to the Democratic League of Kosovo to give the majority to the first party, for the formation of new institutions after the February 9 elections.
"Mr. Kurti has won a constitutional right by being the first in the election. The right is to propose the Speaker of the Assembly and form the government. This right is exclusive to him and also to be the first to propose the government. It is up to him to form a majority, since we are not the ones to form a majority," he said./KSP
