Kosovo has also officially requested the help of Kosovo's international partners to convince the Serbian List for the transformation of the KSF.
The Minister of Force, Rrustem Berisha, made this request at the "FSK and Partners" conference, where he requested their involvement in the efforts to convince the Serbian List to be part of the transformation of the KSF, so that the force is not only a consumer of security but also a proactive contributor to it, reports KTV.
Meanwhile, the Prime Minister of Kosovo, Ramush Haradinaj, has stated that Kosovo is the home of all communities, therefore its transformation into an army will be in favor of their security.
"The fact that it is the home of Kosovo Serbs and Kosovars in the north of the country should be applauded. We have gone through difficulties in the past and now we are restoring the faith. The transition of our force and its constitutional mandate would not change our foundation, it would not change either the mission or the vision of our society", said Haradinaj.
Support for the creation of a multi-ethnic force in Kosovo has also been given by the commander of KFOR, Major General Salvatore Cuoci.

He mentioned the joint activities with the Force, which, according to him, are proof of the KSF's professionalism.
The "KSF and partners" conference will focus on the annual bilateral plans for 2018, between the Ministry of the Kosovo Security Force and bilateral partners, as well as the needs and requirements of the KSF for further development for 2019/2020.
