The festival of Plis Bardhë from Gulina extends to Dajt

During the weekend that we left behind, precisely on August 27 of this year, a group of activists gathered around the Association for Cultural Heritage and Creativity from Presheva, took an active part in the White Plis Festival, on Dajti Mountain in the National Park of Tirana .

The representatives of the Presheva Valley, with their participation in this spectacular manifestation, gave support to the initiative of the Bytyçi Association and its chairman, Agron Isa Gjedia, so that the White Plis Festa takes on nationwide proportions, writes Sevdail Hyseni from Presheva.

This magnificent manifestation, which is dedicated to the icon of our national dress, Plis, had the pleasure of opening with the singers from the Anamorava Valley: Xhemajl Berisha and Rexhep Abazi, as well as with the talented dancers: Lule Sylejmani and Hanumshahe Salihu.

The White Plis Party, held in a picturesque setting on Mount Dajt, from which Tirana could be seen as if from the palm of your hand, echoed with songs, folk games, dances with Tropoian, Hasian, Gjakova and Presheva motifs, as well as recitations by different creators from Albanian spaces.

From this celebration full of diverse activities, gratitude was also exchanged, among which those originating from the Presheva Valley stood out, such as: Association for Cultural Heritage and Creativity from Presheva, directed by Xhemaledin Salihu, then Association of Albanian Writers "Feniks", Bilall Maliqi, activity of Eagles from Medvegja, Rexhep Abazi, writer from Samolica e Bujanoci, Mustafa Ismaili, working in Canada, and so on.

The activists of the Presheva Valley, who shone with their charm and performance at the White Pleat Festival, were the most privileged in this manifestation, either by the organizer or by the other participants of this spectacle, they were accompanied by love and hospitality fraternally, exchanging hugs and mutual gratitude.

With the impressive memories and the warmest fraternal greetings, the representatives of the Preševo ​​Valley return with the great desire to meet again at the nationwide celebration and why not organize something like this in their province, where Plisi still lives with his whiteness, as a historical and national identifying mark.
