Only 35 percent of Serbia's citizens consider that the country should be a member of the European Union, while another 38 percent oppose it, says the Faktor Plus Agency poll, Koha.net reports.
At the same time, the results of the survey show that the number of those who do not have a position regarding Serbia's membership in the EU is increasing. Such are 27 percent of respondents, writes "Blic" of Belgrade.
The citizens of Serbia, according to the survey, equate accession to the EU with the "loss" of Kosovo - 59 percent of them, while 38 percent with the loss of sovereignty, says the director of the Faktor Plus Agency, Vladimir Pejic.
He says that citizens see the standard of living and unemployment (84 percent), crime and corruption (68 percent) as the biggest problem in Serbia, while Kosovo ranks third, which 30 percent see as a problem. of respondents, reports Koha.net.
