The Management Team for the establishment of the Association of Serbian Municipalities (AKS) talked today with the Minister of Local Government of Kosovo Ivan Todosijevic and informed him that the work on drafting the draft statute of the AKS has been intensified so that, as stated by representatives of this team, to meet the deadline set by the European Union, reports Koha.net.
The management team has expressed the hope that in the meantime it will have the opportunity to talk with the Councils for implementation of Belgrade, Pristina and Brussels for the work on the drafting of the statute, which is in accordance with the relevant agreement and with the mandate of the management team.
Teodosijevic was informed that the management team during the past two months met with many teams of experts and talked with them about the areas that will be part of the AKS statute.
In the press release forwarded by FoNet, the Management Team thanked for the logistical support it received from Prishtina through the Ministry of Local Government.
