The heads of the opposition political parties, PDK, LDK and AAK, held a meeting with the US special emissary for the Western Balkans, Gabriel Escobar, on Wednesday night.
The chairman of PDK, Memli Krasniqi, has said that communication with allies is necessary to advance Kosovo's interests.
"Kosovo, every victory and every success in the path of liberation, independence and state building has been achieved with the USA, therefore, our partnership is irreplaceable in the future path towards Euro-Atlantic integration", he wrote on Facebook.
Escobar is visiting Kosovo, where during the day he met with President Vjosa Osmani.
The American diplomat has welcomed the decision of the Government of Kosovo to give lands to the Monastery of Deçan, according to the decision of the Constitutional Court.
He asked Kosovo and Serbia to implement the Brussels Basic Agreement and the Ohrid annex, while underlining that not only Kosovo is being asked to make difficult decisions within this agreement, but Serbia as well.
