Residents of sheet metal buildings in the Martyrs Quarter in the Ballofc village of Podujeva express their disappointment with the delay in the distribution of 10 houses that are dedicated to them, "Koha Ditore" writes today.
Although they say that these 10 houses (project of the Ministry of Education and Culture) have been completed for 1 year, the Municipality has not yet formed the Commission to select the potential beneficiaries.
One of the residents of the containers in this neighborhood, Imer Gimolli, says that they are living a miserable life in these facilities that were intended only for the emergency time - after the war.
"We are not living forever. I'm semi-paralysed, I've lived here for 17 years, it's bad, it's a disaster, we got sick. It is better in Dubrava (in prison) than here. Too bad that they are not sharing those 10 houses that have been built for 1 year", he said... (read more today in "Koha Ditore")
