For the year 2025, the Ministry of Internal Affairs has shown in a list the most common names of children born in Kosovo, which have dominated birth registration.
For girls, the most popular name is Ajla, which has reached 346 registrations, ranking it as the most common name of 2025. It is followed by the name Dua with 342 registrations, and Hana with 254 registrations. Last year, Dua was the most common name for girls.
For boys, Troi is the most popular name with 296 records. Following him are the names Mal with 244 records and Malik with 244 records as well. Even in 2024, the name Troi was the most common name.
