Albanian immigrants have been advised to pull out their teeth to avoid deportation from Great Britain, it has been revealed "The Telegraph" in some conversations that have been recorded on the social network TikTok.
Four Albanian immigrants in Britain in a live video on TikTok discussed ways to avoid deportation by escaping from the Immigration Removal Center, "Colnbrook", at Heathrow, where they are being held before crossing to Albania.
In the video on TikTok, the four Albanian immigrants talk on the phone from the room in the immigration center with another Albanian who claims to have managed to escape from this center in 2018.
He is heard advising them to consider pulling their teeth so they can be transferred to a hospital, where escape would be easier. There is no evidence that this tactic has worked.
The four Albanians seem to have illegally brought the phone into the immigration center. They allegedly paid £500 for this purpose.
Colnbrook is one of seven immigration removal centers operated by the British Home Office from which illegal immigrants and foreign criminals are deported.
Around 12 Albanians made their way to Great Britain in small boats across the Channel in 2022 before the British and Albanian governments negotiated to curb illegal immigration. For a little more than a year, 3 thousand Albanians infiltrated their country.
It is learned that the four Albanians filmed on TikTok are convicted criminals.
They used the account under the name Xhovani, while discussing escape tactics with the other Albanian who had the nickname "The Sting". The latter boasted of the supposed escape in 2018.
After talking about the structure and security at the immigration centre, "The Sting" tells them: "As young lads, you have paid a lot of money to get into Britain and it is no good at all to be sent to Albania. Let me show you another trick. Take out one of your teeth, so they will send you to the hospital”.
"The Sting" further explains to them other ways to escape, such as "volunteer work" for garbage removal. He tells the four Albanians to earn the trust of the security guards by removing the garbage for several days in a row. "The Sting" also gives them other ideas.
Then one of the four Albanians intervenes saying that the discussions will continue in private.
There is no record of an Albanian escaping from "Colnbrook" in 2018. Eight Albanians were among 13 people who escaped from another immigration center in 2023, called "Yarl's Wood".
TikTok has said that any promotion of criminal activities was prohibited under community guidelines.
"We rely on the relevant authorities to identify and notify us of accounts that are used by prisons or detention centers in violation of relevant laws. When notified, we investigate and will take appropriate action if we have sufficient information indicating a violation of local laws," the announcement said.
Authorities in Britain have said that no people have escaped from immigration centers recently.
"Staff are fully trained and strict protocols are in place to ensure safety," they said.
