The United States Embassy in Kosovo has announced the extradition of two people accused of defrauding American citizens.
The embassy's announcement states that thanks to coordination with authorities in Kosovo, the two defendants have been extradited to the US to face justice for the charges.
"We greatly appreciate the continued cooperation of the Kosovo authorities in support of the US government on this case, which strengthens our joint efforts to maintain the security of Kosovo and the United States," the statement continued.
On December 12 of last year, the US Department of Justice announced the shutdown of an illegal website and marketplace and the arrest of two administrators of this website, Rydox, who are Kosovar citizens with the initials AK and JK.
Another Kosovar citizen with the initials Sh.S. has also been arrested in connection with the case, and is expected to be charged and prosecuted in Albania.
They are accused of having committed this criminal offense for more than eight years.
