The Coalition of NGOs for the Protection of Children in Kosovo - KOMF, in cooperation with the ZFD forum and the Kosovo Education Center - KEC, through projects supported by the European Union, have shared the annual awards for the best stories in the media, in the field of protection and children's rights for 2018.
The journalist of "Koha Ditore", Edona Kutleshi, has won the annual award for the protection of children with the article "Dangerous mountain road to education".
The article published in October in "Koha Ditore" tells about 42 students from the village of Penuhë in the Municipality of Podujeva who travel about 3 kilometers through a mountain road to go to the school in the village of Buricë. The students of Penuhë village lack transportation to the Burica school. In this competition, 14 journalists applied and 5 of them won prizes.
