As of today, TAK has blocked the accounts of the Kosovo Post for the debts of 2018 and 2019 without any warning.
According to the communiqué issued by the Post of Kosovo, it is said that with this unilateral action, TAK has interrupted the services and operations of the Post of Kosovo, which provide services to customers every day in about 140 post offices in all municipalities of Kosovo.
"The ATK has left over a thousand workers of the Kosovo Post without wages and has placed this public enterprise in the most difficult position in this pandemic time. The Post of Kosovo has requested several times from the Government to implement the losses of over 5 million euros from the Universal Postal Service, confirmed by ARKEP, the External Auditor, the Basic Court and the Bailiff. Therefore, the Temporary Board of Directors and the Management of the Post of Kosovo express extreme concern, as well as urgently request Prime Minister Hoti and the Government as its sole shareholder, to return the debts owed to the Post of Kosovo, enabling the immediate repayment of tax obligations to TAK", the announcement states.
Meanwhile, Telekom Kosova's accounts have been blocked by Dardafon.net due to a debt of 26 million euros.
As it has been announced, in the turnover of Telekom there were 3.5 million euros which were given to it by the Government during the pandemic.
