The former activist of the Democratic League of Kosovo, Donika Gërvalla, is one of the names that the acting president, Vjosa Osmani, has included in the list of candidates for deputies from the Vetëvendosje Movement, KOHA has learned.
Gërvalla's candidacy was later confirmed by Vjosa Osmani, who published a photo with Donika Gërvalla writing "As always, together".

On Thursday, Vjosa Osmani signed an agreement with the Vetëvendosje Movement to be included in the competition list of this party. She is expected to take number two on this list, after Albin Kurti, the chairman of the party. Osmani has announced her candidacy for president, while Kurti for prime minister. The parties have a deadline to submit their lists of candidates for deputies until 18:00.
Gërvalla had developed her activity in LDK in Germany. She was the vice president of the LDK in this state for the period 1993-1997, while the president in the period 2015-2018. She was an honorary member of the LDK since 1991, the honor in February 2018.
In 2015, she was denied the opportunity to participate in the party's Assembly, which did not even allow counter-candidates for chairman Isa Mustafa.
