The President of the Republika Srpska in Bosnia and Herzegovina, Milorad Dodik, said that in this century "Serbs should have a single state", which, according to him, should also include Kosovo and Montenegro.
"We are living in an era when in a few years or decades a new world configuration will have to be created. Serbs should not be surprised, but now we must say that in this century we want a single state, consisting of Serbia, Republika Srpska and, if it is a democratic decision, also from Montenegro", he said to "Sputnik". according to his official website, Vijesti reports.
He stated that there should be a "big all-Serbian assembly", from which this message would come out. Regarding the issue of Kosovo, he said that the "Serbian national and state policy must remain dedicated to it".
"I have to say that (President of Serbia, Aleksandar) Vučić brought this issue back to the international stage through the process of negotiations, but also through the process of withdrawing recognition of Kosovo from a significant number of countries. I think we need to maintain a correct and stable and long-term solution, and that is not in the interests of Britain and America. The only solution is the Republika Srpska, Serbia and the Serbian territories, Kosovo, and of course the return of Montenegro to the Serbian national entity, because it undoubtedly belongs to the country," he added.
Dodik is among the only politicians in Europe who has openly supported Russia. It is sanctioned by the USA.
