448 new police officers graduated on Friday in Pristina. The graduation ceremony of the 1th generation of the Kosovo Police was held in the "60 October" hall.
The Prime Minister of Kosovo, Albin Kurti, said that the police is increasing and strengthening its ranks, being at the highest level of duty for the rule of law and preserving the sovereignty and integrity of the country. Kurti emphasized that the Kosovo Police this year marks the 25th anniversary of its establishment, promoting the best values of our society.
The Minister of Internal Affairs, Xhelal Sveçla, said that the members of the Kosovo Police with their professionalism have managed to raise this institution as the most reliable for the citizens of Kosovo. He emphasized that service to the country is never enough when we remember the continuous sacrifice of our people for freedom.
And, the General Director of the Kosovo Police, Gazmend Hoxha, said that the graduation of this generation shows their commitment to overcome all challenges to become part of the Kosovo Police. He emphasized that the priority for the Kosovo Police is the fulfillment of standards, the representation of all communities, ethnic and gender diversity.
The spokesperson of the 60th generation of the Kosovo Police, Florian Shala, said that this moment of graduation is proof of dedication and responsibilities to fulfill the tasks that await them with honor and dignity. He promised that they will work with dedication to maintain the trust that citizens have in the Kosovo Police. / EO
