Member of the Presidency of the Democratic Party of Kosovo, Blerta Deliu-Kodra, has reacted after the beating that occurred today in Skenderaj, for which the head of the Vetëvendosje Movement branch in Skenderaj and Deputy Minister of Finance, Hysni Mehani, says that she was attacked by the mayor of this municipality, Sami Lushtaku, and his guards.
Deliu-Kodra said that violence is not a solution, but neither are provocations and lynchings.

"Violence is not a solution. But neither are provocations, lynchings and systematic accusations. Because when the language of hatred, division and dehumanization is installed for years, the consequences are not long in coming. One leads to another. It has always been this way. Therefore, today more than ever, we need restraint and respect in public discourse. To ban language that produces conflict, not to feed it," Deliu-Kodra's reaction states.
