The Minister of Local Government Administration, Emilija Rexhepi, also Deputy Prime Minister, has stated that the Bosniak community in Kosovo is facing language barriers, stating that the education directorates in municipalities are not showing interest in including curricula on pre-primary education.
She said on Monday on "Elections in TIME" that the time has come for these stereotypes and prejudices to be broken.
"Due to language barriers, we have this limitation, but I believe the time has come to Let's break these stereotypes and prejudices. and that the municipalities where Bosniaks live, "Like Prizren, Peja, Istog and Dragash, their directorates do not show interest in including pre-primary education for our students in their budgets and curricula, even though we have a branch of Pedagogy in the Faculty of Education, and we have a large number of educators who are professionally prepared for this work and for the education of our students," said Rexhepi.
She further stated that she has insisted within the Government to open two nurseries and two preschool institutions in Reçan and Prizren.
...The largest number of Bosniaks live there and I hope we will find understanding and even if not, I believe we will achieve them with our policy...Our children go to private kindergartens, "Our educators organize them privately, although insufficiently... but the biggest problem is in the villages where Bosniaks live," the minister said.
