The investigative show "BOOM" on RTV Ora presented today the disturbing situation of the residents affected by the earthquake in Thumana.
After the rescue teams and television cameras left, they left behind a truly sad scene with residents who have not yet been sheltered and with thieves who have begun to steal the houses left empty after being declared uninhabitable.
Many of them are suffering from various diseases and need immediate help as they cannot cope with the situation.
Such is the case of Mrs. Zhuljeta Koxha, who suffers from epilepsy and trembles all the time.
She claims that she sleeps in the yard and that she has not received help from the authorities.

"The municipality has not given us any help. Yesterday they came to give me the needle. It's been 5 days since the earthquake and the doctor didn't come to see me. What churches in the buffet have collapsed. The face of the wall has collapsed. The Kosovars have brought us some medicines because they (the municipality) have not given us anything. I went to ask for an umbrella and the one from the municipality didn't give me one. "Oh, you've got plenty, they told me", says Koxha.
The "BOOM" reporter went to the Caka family, which has two sick children. One of them was operated on a few days ago and sleeps in the cold in the tent located near the collapsed house.
"We live here at the moment. Here's the boy I had spinal surgery on. No one told us where to shelter. They only gave us this tent to get in here. And we hardly got this at 12 at night", says one of the residents.
"I have two sick children. I operated on one while the other is autistic. I live in extraordinary conditions. I am asking for help from anyone who can," she says further.
The mother of the house says that they were sent to the hotel but were not accepted as they did not have a certificate from the municipality, so they were forced to return to the tents.
And a 16-year-old boy confesses the situation in which they are currently. "The evenings are cold. I want to move from this place because everything here is a disaster and I want to go to a better place. They didn't tell us anything to run away. We have nothing else to do", says the 16-year-old.
After this concern, "BOOM" turned to the Thuman Administrative Unit to ask why housing is not provided to this family, but there was no concrete answer about the cases either.

The employee of the Administrative Unit in Thuman said that the umbrella will be distributed to this family.
The Administrator of the Unit has not given an explanation for the situation but says that the places in the hotels are occupied.
Another lady says that she has not been sheltered yet. With tears in her eyes, she says that she has prayed for an umbrella but has not yet received it.
Many residents admit to still sleeping in dilapidated houses while others sleep in the open.
"When I ask for the tent, they tell me 'go home because we will bring it.' I go home and stay up until 5 in the morning, waiting for the door to ring, but no one comes. Now sleep outside. The state is not to blame for the earthquakes that occur, but at least they should come and give us umbrellas to hide our heads. I'm sick and no one asks you. It has been 1 week that I have been staying here every day", says the lady.
But as if this disaster were not enough, another phenomenon has been noticed after the earthquake, theft.
