The number of marriages in August increased by 59.5 percent compared to the previous month. According to data published by the Kosovo Agency of Statistics, 1972 marriages were registered in and outside Kosovo in August. In July, 1236 marriages were registered.
There has been a 45.2 percent drop in the number of divorces. There were 97 divorces registered in August, compared to 177 in July.
In August, 2516 births were registered, a decrease of 6.4 percent compared to July, while 914 deaths were registered during the month, an increase of 4.3 percent compared to the previous month.
