Two days after being placed on the black list of the USA, Artan Grubi, former deputy prime minister of North Macedonia from the ranks of DUI, has announced that he has decided to retire from politics and public life.
He made this announcement through social networks.
"Although the decision says that this is not to condemn, but to encourage improvement of behavior, I, before God, family and friends, am clean as a tear, but with the aim of disclosing the truth, which many of you I see that you already know, and in order not to be a political burden, I have decided to retire from public life and I have informed Mayor Ahmeti about this since the first day", wrote Grubi on the social network Facebook.
The resignation comes after the Public Prosecution started investigations against Grubi and after the statement of the head of DUI, Ali Ahmeti, who emphasized that the decision to withdraw belongs to Grubi himself.
