Another 100 doses of the "Pfizer" vaccine against COVID-19 have arrived in Kosovo. These doses also came through the COVAX alliance.
With the 100 doses received today, the total number of vaccines received by Kosovo has reached about 620.
Initially, the country received about 24 doses of the "AstraZeneca" vaccine, and later another 38. All through COVAX. Besides them, the country has also received 15 thousand doses of "Pfizer" from the European Union.
In Kosovo, about 60 thousand citizens have been vaccinated so far, while today the Minister of Health, Arben Vitia, warned that mass vaccination will start from June 15.
The easing of measures has been announced in the country, after the drop in cases of COVID-19. There are 2987 active cases. As a result of the virus, 2242 people have died.
