The Court of Appeal has rejected the appeal of the Municipality of Pristina and confirmed the decision of the Basic Court which annulled the environmental permit for the "Adventure Park" in Gërmi.
This was announced by the Center for Strategic Litigation (CSL), which had sued the Municipality for this decision.
"The Court of Appeal, through its ruling dated May 18, 2026, has rejected as inadmissible the appeal of the Municipality of Pristina, thus confirming the Judgment of the Basic Court in Pristina, which had approved CSL's lawsuit and had canceled the municipal environmental permit for the 'Adventure Park' project," CSL's announcement states.
The Basic Court in Pristina in June 2024 annulled the decision of the Municipality of Pristina regarding the environmental permit for the implementation of the "Adventure Park" project in the Protected Landscape of the Gërmia Park.
The decision was made three years after the lawsuit by the Center for Strategic Litigation.
