Update, 20:50 - The Feminist Thought and Action Collective has issued a new statement, saying that Kosovar activist Albulena Fazliu, who was previously reported to have been detained by Israel, may be on a ship that has not yet arrived in Gaza.

The collective said that the preliminary announcement it had made was based on international sources.
Fazliu is on one of the ships in the Sumud flotilla. Israel has detained hundreds of activists from this flotilla, which was bound for Gaza to deliver aid.

"Dear media. Regarding the previous announcement distributed, which was based on international sources, we now have new information that Albulena may be on one of the ships that has not yet arrived in Gaza. We will inform you immediately of any new developments. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation," the Feminist Thought and Action Collective announced.

Activist Albulena Fazliu is among the activists detained by the Israeli military. She was part of the "Global Sumud" flotilla, which aimed to deliver aid to Gaza.

The flotilla was stopped on Wednesday by the Israeli army. Hundreds of activists have been detained.

The “Collective for Feminist Thought and Action” has called on Kosovo authorities to demand from Israel the release of Fazliu. Fazliu lives in Germany.

"Among the activists from 40 countries around the world who have managed to open a humanitarian corridor is Albulena Fazliu. Albulena is a war refugee from Kosovo in Germany who has already been kidnapped by Israel. The state of Kosovo must immediately demand that Israel release Albulena and other activists and once and for all take a political position and call for an end to the extermination of the Palestinian people by Israel. Our state and society must stand by Albulena, the Palestinian people and everyone who is committed to ensuring that Palestine lives, and lives freely," the "Collective for Feminist Thought and Action" announced.
