The chairman of the Social Democratic Party, Shpend Ahmeti, has indicated that on Tuesday, January 15, the Dialogue platform will be ready to be sent to the Assembly of Kosovo.

Ahmeti, who is the co-chairman of the Dialogue with Serbia, made this known to Koha.net, saying that it is the right of every deputy to vote as he wants, when he was asked if he believes that the Democratic League of Kosovo and Vetëvendosja they will vote.

"Yes, the platform will be ready on the relevant date. Our mandate is to negotiate, report and reach agreement. Before we know what that deal is, I can't even talk about PSD votes. The right of each deputy is to vote as they wish", Ahmeti told Koha.net.

Ahmeti also spoke about the non-inclusion of LDK and VV in the dialogue.

"If they are the political forces of the Republic, they are for dialogue, and the Assembly votes for dialogue and for a team, then I don't understand why they are not part of the dialogue", added Ahmeti.

Attempts by the State Delegation to coordinate actions with the president regarding the dialogue have so far been fruitless. The commitment to exchange information and documentation about the dialogue with Serbia has not been fulfilled either.

January 15 is the deadline for finalizing the State Platform, which will then be submitted to the Assembly.

At the meeting of the State Team that was held in December of last year, Fatmir Limaj and Shpend Ahmeti, as co-chairs of the Dialogue with Serbia, confirmed that the draft law for the dialogue will be processed in the Government by January 15.

"We agreed that once I and once Limaj will lead the meetings. We agreed that until January 15, we will process the draft law in the Government of Kosovo. Five members will work on the platform. This platform, as you know, defines the principles, including the recognition of Kosovo's independence by Serbia", Ahmeti said.
