The Minister of Infrastructure and Environment, Lumir Abdixhiku, has confirmed the cancellation of the construction of the neighborhood near Badovci.
In a post on Facebook, he wrote that invoking the Kosovo Water Law, based on the Government's Decision on the protected areas in Lake Badovci, the Ministry of Infrastructure and Environment has obliged the Municipality of Pristina to cancel the decision to construction conditions for the case of the neighborhood near Badovci.
"The Government of Kosovo is committed to protecting the country's natural resources. Above all, it is interested in listening to the unheard voice of civic activism, which this time was decisive in raising the alarm in time", the announcement states.
