Letter to the Reader — Why We're Asking for Your Support Contribute"LDK appreciates the responsibility and constitutional clarity shown in this decision by it, in defense of the constitutional order and the normal functioning of the institutions of the Republic. Political failure, together with the dangerous tendencies of imposition and improvisation, cannot produce either artificial political debates or procedural delays that would transform our Republic into a country without norms and rules," he wrote on Facebook.
Abdixhiku has accused the Vetëvendosje Movement of attempting to seize state positions.
"Elections were never the LDK's preferred alternative. On the contrary, they were completely unnecessary and easily avoidable. Unfortunately, the appetite for a single-party capture of all state positions prevented any eventual compromise."
