The head of the Parliamentary Group of the Alliance for the Future of Kosovo, Besnik Tahiri, has said that his party's MPs will not participate in the session called from 17:00 PM to discuss the election of the president.
"Kosovo had three months to seriously discuss the election of the president, since the establishment of the government. We have said it from day one, the discussions on the election of the president have been a political spectacle, a public performance, with the sole purpose of arriving at this situation...AAK has not been invited to the discussions. We have not participated, and consequently we do not participate in a discussion that is still a public performance. This time we are seeing it is a public performance, a discussion that speaks for itself. Kurti, instead of speaking in party bodies, wants to turn the Assembly platform into an internal discussion," said Tahiri.
He said it is a continuation of the "public spectacle, which unfortunately is leading the country to elections."
