The suspension of the internal elections of the fourth largest Albanian entity in Kosovo will be in effect until two weeks after the end of the extraordinary elections, the announcement states.

The AAK General Council also discussed the party's plan for the elections, after President Vjosa Osmani dissolved the Assembly on Friday. The AAK Central Election Headquarters will be led by Deputy President Ardian Gjini.

Months ago, AAK leader Ramush Haradinaj announced that he would not run for another term as party leader and that Ardian Gjini was expected to take the position.
