Democratic League of Kosovo MP Paris Guri clashed with Vetevendosje MPs during the constitutive session on Wednesday. Guri was given the floor three times by the chair Avni Dehari and repeatedly asked Vetevendosje MP Fitore Pacolli, "Did you return the 200 thousand euros?"
Guri took the floor after Chairman Dehari asked the LDK to propose a member for the secret ballot committee.
Guri, after taking the floor, reacted to the comments of the Vetëvendosje Movement deputies from their seats. "Are you okay? What's wrong? Calm down! Don't scream like a child because you have two years. Calm down! Dimal, calm down...", he said from the podium.
After an intervention by the director, at Dehari's request, to cut off the microphone, since he was not speaking on the requested topic, Guri asked for the floor again and was allowed to speak again by the chairman.
Continuing his statements, he addressed the LVV MP, Fitore Pacolli, saying: "Fitore, what's wrong with you? Have you returned the 200 thousand euros? Don't worry Fitore, you took it. Halil, you stay (Thaci vj). Oh Fitore, don't shout! Have you returned the 200 thousand euros?"

Chairman Dehari intervened and asked him to give only the proposal, without additional comments. But Guri reacted near the chairman's microphone: "Circus. How can I speak in front of a circus?", expressing dissatisfaction with the atmosphere in the hall.
After giving the floor for the third time, Guri continued with statements directed at Pacolli: "Oh Fitore, don't do it with your hands. Give him back the 200 thousand euros."
The chairman of the session, Avni Dehari, finally intervened, requesting that the microphone be cut off for the LDK deputy.
"Please hang up, the phone is disconnected and there is no way to continue," says Dehari.

MP Pacolli reacted on Facebook after Guri's speech on the floor of the Parliament. She said that there is nothing true in the claim about 200 thousand euros mentioned by Guri.
"The MP would do well to ask, as Prime Minister Kurti has asked, the owner of the Devolli corporation to return the 62.6 million euros he stole from Telekom Kosova. He asks me to return 200 thousand euros for which he also knows that there is nothing real there. Devolli does not dare, therefore he does not ask him. Devolli has financed and is financing him and his colleagues to be in the Assembly," she wrote.
Ganimete Musliu: Kusari, Gërvalla and Pacolli bullied MP Guri for his name and age
In a later reaction, Democratic Party of Kosovo MP Ganimete Musliu accused LVV MPs Donika Gërvalla, Mimoza Kusari-Lila and Fitore Pacolli of bullying MP Paris Guri the entire time he was speaking in the Assembly.
Musliu considered this unacceptable, saying that a young MP like Guri “instead of being encouraged and supported in his first steps in the Assembly, faced an organized campaign of ridicule and insults, not for the content of his speech, but for his name and age.”

Today in the rostrum of the Kosovo Assembly it was clearly seen how far Vetëvendosje is willing to go in collective bullying. This is a reprehensible act in itself, but it is made even more ugly by the fact that at the forefront of this bullying campaign were three women: Mimoza Kusari, Donika Gërvalla and Fitore Pacolli," she wrote on Facebook.

Such an action, according to Musliu, not only violates the basic principles of parliamentary ethics, "but also sends a dangerous message to youth engaged in politics, that instead of encouragement, they will face contempt and ridicule."
"Vetëvendosje's approach to a young MP is frightening and unacceptable. If a name or a young age is a reason to be despised in the Assembly, then what message is being given to young people who want to contribute to the country?" she wrote.
