The Commission for the Supervision of Public Finances has reviewed the performance audit report "Management of public construction contracts", reports Ekonomia Online.

The Chairperson of the Commission, Hykmete Bajrami, said that 60 million euros were spent on the construction of educational and cultural facilities.

Meanwhile, deputy Jetmire Vrenezi from VV, said that there were many irregularities and uncertainties regarding the implementation of projects.

She further said that the Ministry of Culture and Education did not consider the auditor's recommendations, excluding the Ministry of Public Administration.

The Minister of Culture, Hajrulla Çeku, was asked about the issue of investments and contracts and what is his plan for addressing this problem.

"The matter of the performance audit, we have started work immediately, asking for the reflection of all projects and contracts, and we have scanned these contracts, taking measures against suspicions of criminal offenses", said Çeku.

The minister also emphasized that there are 12 projects whose basic term has expired and others that are forced to cancel.

While the Deputy Minister of Education, Dukagjin Pupovci, said that in terms of contracts, they have arranged a company to advance this issue.
