47 people have been confirmed positive with coronavirus today in Kosovo, the IKSHPK announced through an announcement. These results have come out after testing 314 samples taken from the Infectious Disease Clinic and tracking the contacts of cases in the field.
Today, 22 people have been confirmed to have recovered.
"The positive cases are from: the municipality of Pristina 18 cases, the municipality of Vushtrri 6 cases, the municipality of Prizren 4 cases, the municipality of Vitia 3 cases, the municipality of Podujeva 3 cases, the municipality of Gjilan 3 cases, the municipality of Lipjan 2 cases and from 1 case municipalities: Dragash, Ferizaj, Fushë Kosovë, Gjakovë, Mitrovica, Pejë, Rahovec and Skenderaj", the announcement states.
It is announced that from February 08 to June 22, 2020, in the Laboratory of Molecular Microbiology at IKSHPK with the RT-PCR method, a total of 21.831 people suspected of the SARS-CoV-2 virus were tested and a total of 2.216 cases were positive, with a total 37 cases of death who had other accompanying diseases.
"The IKSHPK is continuously contacting and supervising all the contacts of the cases, as well as the contacts of the contacts, obliging them to self-isolate and seek medical help if they have symptoms," the announcement continues.
