The head of the Parliamentary Group of the Alliance for the Future of Kosovo, Besnik Tahiri, while calling Prime Minister Albin Kurti a "sophisticated fraud", said that the discussions about the Ibri Bridge are being done deliberately so that "his four-year failures" are not discussed in public. .

In an article in Facebook, Tahiri said that as long as there is talk about the opening of the Bridge over the Ibar in Mitrovica, Kosovo "is a completely isolated country in the international plane and blocked in the internal plane, where no one can make a 30-kilometer road in each direction like: Podujevë, Mitrovica, Gjakovë, Gjilan or anywhere without planning, at least two hours away". According to Tahir, there are over 2500 businesses that are blocked in the construction sites of these roads.

He has also accused the Kurti Government for the process of subsidizing school books, saying that the citizen's basic right is being suppressed. He said that the economy is on the verge of collapse and the public sector has the lowest salary at the regional level and beyond.

According to Tahir, Kurti has opened only one bridge - "that of Saradran".

"He wants to tie this people to a post near the bridge and tell us every day whether the bridge is painted, whether a truck can pass, whether he spoke with the KFOR commander or not. See beyond that, this is a sophisticated rogue who is ending his tenure with a single success - Saradran's bridge. He is ending his mandate by violating every public official, suppressing every free voice, both in the media and in society," he added.
"These are his problems, if you want to stay connected to the bridge, stay there, but Kosovo is going down and on the verge of destruction at the lowest level of interstate relations with the USA and EU countries. So the sophisticated trickster wants to keep us tied to the bridge!” Tahiri has finished writing.
On Wednesday, Prime Minister Albin Kurti reiterated the Government's position on the plan to open the Bridge over the Iber, saying that the plan is not against anyone. International partners have criticized Kosovo, describing the plan as a "unilateral and uncoordinated action". Even KFOR has said that any decision on the opening of the bridge should be made in dialogue. A day ago, the American ambassador in Kosovo, Jeffrey Hovenier, said that there is a danger with the opening of the bridge in Mitrovica at this time. According to him, this could affect the security of NATO soldiers, including American ones.
