The Deputy Minister of Infrastructure, Hysen Durmishi, has said that in two or three days he will have the report showing whether the Bridge over the Ibër River is stable for opening to traffic.

He expressed optimism that the bridge is stable and that it will be opened.

"As you can see today, we are doing the tests for the stability of the bridge over the Ibër bridge. We started two days ago... During the day, this process will be completed so that within two or three days we will have the final report on whether the bridge is stable or not. I don't know when the bridge will be opened, but I know that the bridge will be opened because there is no reason for it to be closed. These are the last tests.... based on what I know and my experience as an engineer, this is the most stable bridge... if the report says that it is not stable, we will continue with other actions", said Durmishi after the conversation with held in the Municipal Assembly of North Mitrovica with the citizens on the issue of the bridge.

The deputy director of the police for the northern region, Veton Elshani, during the conversation, emphasized that in terms of security, there is no reason for the bridge to be closed.
