The Ministry of Industry, Entrepreneurship and Trade has identified inconsistencies in local prices of oil products with large price movements in the world market.
After the finding, this institution announced in the late hours of Saturday that it has decided to adjust the prices and set other protective measures.
The Ministry has decided that the maximum commercial margin allowed for the wholesale sale of petroleum products is 2 euro cents per liter, while the maximum commercial margin allowed for retail sale is 12 euro cents per liter.
Starting Sunday, the decision will be in effect for 30 days. Meanwhile, the implementation will be supervised by the Central Market Inspectorate in cooperation with the Customs and Tax Administration.
