Today in Kosovo, the weather will be mostly sunny. According to the Hydrometeorological Institute of Kosovo, the minimum temperatures will be between 15-19 degrees Celsius, while the maximum of the day is expected to be between 34-38 degrees Celsius.
According to the Institute, wind will blow mainly from the southwest at a speed of 1-4 m/s.
These predicted temperatures are said to be 2-3 degrees higher in urban areas, depending on the exposure of metallic materials, asphalt, inert materials and the position of the buildings to the sky.
According to the Institute, even during the night and early hours, temperatures will not fall below 20 degrees Celsius.
The institute appealed to people with chronic diseases to avoid going out in the sun.
"A special caution to the participants in the traffic, because this hot weather causes discomfort, weakens driving reflexes, and in special cases they can also lose control. "Frequent consumption of fresh water is advisable", says the announcement of the Institute.
