The President of Kosovo, Vjosa Osmani, has said that Kosovo joins the calls of all those who push forward the concept of peace. From the Peace Summit for Ukraine that is being held in Switzerland, it has been emphasized that peace is also related to justice for the victims who suffered during the war.

"As we know from our bitter experience in Kosovo, it is not enough to simply see peace as an isolated concept, as it largely depends on justice, justice for the victims, for those who suffered the most during the war . As Kosovo, I believe we are in a position with all the others participating in this Summit to share our story, the story of Kosovo as a state that was built from scratch, as a state that has suffered and sacrificed a lot. However, we have turned into a model of democracy and powerful alliances", said Osmani.

The president has added that it is time for all countries to stand by Ukraine as it was done for Kosovo during the war.

"Just as the alliances were necessary to save Kosovo from the genocidal regime, it is equally important that now when the entire security architecture in Europe is being endangered through Russian aggression, we all stand together in the same values and to defended the same principles as, according to her, were defended in the 90s in Kosovo".

Osmani also spoke about the meeting he had with the president of Switzerland, Viola Amherd, with whom he said they discussed ways to increase cooperation between the two countries, especially in the field of defense.
