Osmani and Siljanovska-Davkova discuss the deepening of cooperation

The President of Kosovo, Vjosa Osmani, met on Thursday with the President of North Macedonia, Gordana Siljanovska-Davkova, shortly before the Summit of South-Eastern European Countries (SEECP).

Osmani wrote on Facebook that he congratulated Siljanovska-Davkova for taking the post of president, adding that they discussed bilateral relations and deepening cooperation.

"On the eve of the Summit of Southeast European countries (SEECP), I met the President of North Macedonia, Gordana Siljanovska-Davkova. Once again, I congratulated the President on taking office, while we also discussed the bilateral relations between Kosovo and North Macedonia, as well as the deepening of cooperation for the benefit of the citizens of our two countries", it is stated in her announcement.

Osmani is in Skopje for the Summit, where the deepening of cooperation with regional countries and international partners will be discussed. The Office of the Presidency has announced that the Summit will be used as an opportunity to guarantee peace, security, stability and economic development in the region.

"During her stay in Skopje, President Osmani will also hold other meetings", the communiqué states.
