Kosovo off the agenda of the meeting of the Committee of Ministers of the Council of Europe

The Committee of Ministers in the Council of Europe will not discuss Kosovo in the meeting they are expected to hold this week. 

In a response to KOHEN from the media office of this institution, it was said that they cannot share more information at this stage. 

"Kosovo is not on the agenda of the meeting of the Committee of Ministers next week. We do not have any more information at this stage", says the summary in the response of KiE.

According to the agenda, the Ministers of Foreign Affairs of the 46 member countries of the Council of Europe will hold their annual session on May 17, 2024, within the framework of the Organization's 75th anniversary.

The agenda will include the measures that the Council of Europe continues to take in response to the Russian Federation's full aggression against Ukraine, the implementation of the Reykjavik Declaration (adopted at the Summit of Heads of State and Government in 2023) and the adoption of a Framework Convention on Artificial Intelligence, Human Rights, Democracy and the Rule of Law.
