The Assembly of Zveçan meets in an alternative office

The meeting of the Municipal Assembly of Zveçan is being held in an alternative office in the village of Lipë, although the Mayor of the Municipality, Ilir Peci, moved to the municipal facility on Monday to continue his duties. He said that this session was held in this alternative office because he was invited a week ago, and the next session is expected to be held in the Municipality facility.

He has stated that "70 percent of the requests of the citizens of the municipality" have been achieved in one year of local governance.

"We are at the end of the requests. Repair of road layers in three villages, repair of two ambulances, lighting in Banjskë village and three sports fields in three schools in Kelmend, Boletin and Zhazhë. Three roads in the center of the municipality of Zveçan are under completion. I hope that within a very short time they will start the works both in the Albanian villages and in the Serbian villages", said Peci.

Peci declared a day ago that he will perform his duty from now on in the municipal facility, stating that he is committed to working for the good of all the citizens of Zveçan.

After the meeting, Peci went to the Municipality building.

Deputy Minister of Local Government Administration, Arbër Vokrri, met with Peci.

"We are continuing to work for all citizens. I believe that even the staff will have it easy," stated Peci.

 "I congratulate you for this brave action. I have no doubt that you will establish a very healthy relationship with the citizens. From this building I know that the citizens will have the easiest access and the institutional cooperation will be at a higher level and more adequate. Count on the support of the central level", said Vokrri in the meeting with Peci.
