At the Vienna Economic Forum, Prime Minister Albin Kurti stated that good neighborly relations and regional cooperation help each other and lead to greater economic integration.
The Prime Minister's Office announced on Sunday that Kurti thanked the Forum for its support for citizens, stating that the rule of law and respect for media freedom "are the values that should guide us as a region".
"In the last three years that I have been in office as prime minister, Kosovo has improved its indices across the board. They have the fastest growing indices of liberal and electoral democracy, rule of law and media freedom and have the highest average economic growth. These are the values that should guide us as a region, because development and democracy go hand in hand and the ultimate beneficiaries are our citizens. Thank you to the Vienna Economic Forum for the platform and support and to the people and government of Bulgaria for hosting this important forum for our region", the announcement states.
Kurti added that Kosovo and Bulgaria have friendship and partnership.

The Prime Minister of Kosovo, Albin Kurti, will participate in the Vienna Economic Forum, which this time is held in Sofia, Bulgaria.
According to the press release sent by the Government, he will participate in the Forum with the Minister of Economy, Artane Rizvanolli.
"Initially, he will be present at the opening ceremony of the forum, where he will give an occasional speech. Meanwhile, tomorrow will be part of the discussion session 'Questions for the visionaries: The role of innovation, technology and education for regional economic cooperation'", the announcement states.
According to the announcement, the Prime Minister of Bulgaria, Dimitar Glavchev, as well as ministers, government officials and dignitaries from Europe will also participate in the meetings in Sofia.
Kurti is expected to hold bilateral meetings with the Prime Minister of Bulgaria, Dimitar Glavchev and the President of Bulgaria, Rumen Radev.
