There is a protest in support of Kosovo in front of the Serbian Embassy in Tirana

A protest took place on Friday morning, in front of the Serbian embassy in Tirana. Citizens have protested in support of Kosovo after the recent tensions in Mitrovica where local Serbs have barricaded the streets.

The Serbian President, Aleksandër Vučić, has requested the entry of Serbian army troops into Kosovo.

The protesters protested peacefully.

They demanded that Serbia give up the provocation.

"We are peaceful and not aggressive", were their calls, as they appeared with the red and black flag, with the map of the Albanian territories before the partition of 1913 and the main Albanian figures from Gjergj Kastrioti, to Ismail Qemali, Isa Boletini and Adem Jashari .

Protesters have called for unity.

"We are one", they wrote in their slogans, as they talked about Serbian crimes in Kosovo and injustices against Albanians.

"It was not enough for the Serbs to rape and rape more than 21 thousand women, our sisters and mothers. There are 1600 missing people who are still not being found," said one of the protesters.
