The former employees of "Rilindja" will protest on Tuesday at the Kosovo Privatization Agency, demanding that the payment of the 20 percent be accelerated.
The protest will start from 12:00.
"The Government of the Republic of Kosovo, since the New Year, has poured the funds for the payment of 20 percent into the coffers of the AKP. With these funds being poured, the PAK has been told that the allocation of these funds to the workers will be made in the period March - June 2022, in three installments. Although it was so, this did not happen, on the contrary, the process is dragging on and it is not known when it will start. The workers from this gathering will send a clear message to the AKP Board, but also to the Government, to fulfill the obligation and put an end to the several years of discrimination, which was done to the workers of this enterprise", said the former "Rilindja" employees.
It has also been said that from this meeting the Government of the Assembly will be asked to speed up the procedures for the approval of the amendment to the Pension Law, so that the employees of "Rilindja" will be recognized for their years of work before 1999, so that they have full pensions.
