The Ukrainian ambassador in Belgrade: Ukraine does not change its attitude towards Kosovo

The ambassador of Ukraine in Serbia, Oleksandr Aleksandrovych, has said that Ukraine will not change its attitude towards the state of Kosovo.

Aleksandrovych told the Serbian medium Alo, that Ukraine has not received a request from Kosovo for the recognition of its state, and that Ukraine's position is unchanged.

"As far as I know, we have not received such a request. Ukraine's principled stance on respecting the territorial integrity of other countries, including Serbia, is known and unchanging," he said.

Aleksandrovych has thanked Serbia for its stance, voting for Ukraine at the UN, where 141 countries supported Ukraine and condemned Russian aggression and only five countries were against, including Russia and Belarus.

Meanwhile, Kosovo has joined the Western countries, imposing a series of sanctions against Russia due to its invasion of Ukraine.
