A 19-year-old woman from Vushtrri has died these days after it is suspected that she did not receive treatment at the Infectious Diseases Clinic of KKUK for her health condition. This is due to the situation created by the coronavirus in this clinic.

As KOHA has learned from sources, the 19-year-old was sent to the Infectious Diseases Department due to the deterioration of her health condition, however, due to the situation created with COVID-19, the Clinic did not accept her as only cases are being treated there with coronavirus.

It has also been learned that the Kosovo Police is treating the case as suspicious.

Officially from the Kosovo Police, KOHA has learned that eight policemen have been sent to quarantine, because they were in contact with the victim's family, despite the fact that the results of the deceased later turned out to be negative for COVID-19.

"The police are investigating the case. "Eight police officers are in quarantine because of this case and will stay for 14 days, even though this afternoon the results of the deceased have come out negative," said the Kosovo Police.
