Today marks 20 years since the public appearance of the Kosovo Liberation Army.

In the retreat, the Serbian forces, enraged by the blows given to them by the KLA, began to shoot mercilessly at everyone they saw, and in the village of Llaushë they killed the teacher Halit Geci at the door of the school, who was buried with a great ceremony on November 28, 1997.
In this funeral ceremony, attended by tens of thousands of citizens from all over Kosovo, the first public appearance of the KLA took place.
