16 people have died from the coronavirus in Kosovo in the last 24 hours. In yesterday's report of the National Institute of Public Health, 196 cases of death were recorded, while today there are 212. So 16 more.
This is a record number of deaths from COVID-19 in one day in Kosovo.
Meanwhile, 258 new positive cases with COVID-19 have been recorded in the last 24 hours.
With the RT-PCR method, a total of 480 samples obtained from the Ministry of Health and the tracing of contacts of cases in the field were tested, of which 258 positive cases resulted.
The total number of positive cases is 8.104 out of 36.050 people suspected of the SARS-CoV-2 virus, with a total of 212 cases of death who had other accompanying diseases, according to the IKSHPK.

The positive cases are from: Prishtina municipality 53 cases, Pejë municipality 28 cases, Gjilan municipality 24 cases, Ferizaj municipality 18 cases, Fushë Kosovë municipality 15 cases, Podujevë municipality 15 cases, Viti municipality 13 cases, Gjakovë municipality 12 cases, Prizren municipality 12 cases , Vushtrri municipality 11 cases, Lipjan municipality 9 cases, Mitrovica municipality 9 cases, Dragash municipality 7 cases, Skenderaj municipality 6 cases, Drenas municipality 4 cases, Malishevë municipality 3 cases, Shtime municipality 3 cases, Deçan municipality 2 cases, Istog municipality 2 cases , Kamenica municipality 2 cases, Klinë municipality 2 cases, Kllokot municipality 2 cases, Obiliq municipality 2 cases, Suharekë municipality 2 cases and with 1 case each the municipalities: Han i Elezit and Rahovec.
